More Archives....
I am maxed out....no, not my credit cards....my space! It has been taking some time deleting, burning,
uploading to different sites...what-have-you. I have almost used up all the memory on my computer
with photographs, that it will not upload anymore. Thus....the archives!
It has been taking some time getting around to all this computer stuff. Now that the kids are out of school
I will have more time to do so. So for now, all I can say is....hope you enjoy my past pics!
I will have more time to visit all of your blogs regularly, too.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

From the air.....
I took this pic a few years ago coming into Phoenix Sky Harbor, way before I ever moved here.
Can someone tell me what highway this is?
The time I took this shot was about 8:00 in the morning. I have tried to figure out what direction I am
facing but yet I am still befuddled.
I don't see Camelback Mountain in here....help!!!!

A little bit of desert math
Now if I were an elementary school teacher (which I am not), and a student asked me
how tall a saguaro could possibly get....
I would have to respond like this:
"Well kids, some saguaro can reach 50 to 60 ft tall, but most of the ones I've seen
are about a foot and a half over twice the size of a man on horseback."

Don't Ask Me Why....
But as much as I love a colorful sunset....I find that a scene like this has the same effect on me.
Hazy, misty, dusty... wonderful desert--there was no editing done on this photo and it seems
to have a monochromatic effect on it's own.
That's what I love about it.

A few views from San Tan Regional Park
These photos were taken a while back. I'd be a fool to hike right now--108 degrees?
I Don't Think So!
You can't really get the full depth perception on this first photo but let me tell
you, it was nothing short of amazing! We were up pretty high on one of the trails. This view was looking east . Superstition mountain is hiding just behind that mountain on the left.
This second pic is a patch of cholla in the park. They remind me of hands and fingers.
This third shot, my husband took of me up on one of the trails...do you see me? I was wearing bright
yellow just in case my hubby lost sight of me. THAR SHE GLOWS!!!!!
These mountains are fun to hike in (but only in cooler weather).
